Portland is developing a new plan that will guide the protection, restoration, recreational use and development along the south reach of the Willamette River. It is critical that they hear from environmental advocates who want to see this stretch of river better protected and restored.

Comments are due by midnight this Friday to provide input on the U.S. Army Corps plan for repairing and modernizing the Columbia River Levee System which protects more than 24,000 acres of historic floodplain from flooding.
