Please oppose bills including SB 795,HB 3283, and HB 3585 that would give away our state forests, interfere in a public process to update forest management plans, and increase clearcutting in critical fish and wildlife habitat. 

Help Bird Alliance of Oregon and our partners move forward a critical missing piece of climate legislation this session – the Natural Climate Solutions bill (SB 530). Natural climate solutions are critical for fighting climate change and protecting our forests, farms, grasslands, and wetlands.

We need your help to save ODFW’s Marine Reserve program from funding cuts. Please ask the Joint Ways and Means Committee to include the Marine Reserve Community Engagement position in ODFW’s budget.

Please take action today and urge State Legislators on the Joint Committee on Transportation to say “no” to House Bill 3382. If passed, this would allow ports to dredge our rivers without demonstrating compliance with state or local land use law. 

At a special meeting this Wednesday (Feb. 15) the timber industry will ask the Oregon Board of Forestry to scrap the State Forests Habitat Conservation Plan (HCP) that’s been in the works for years. Please help again and urge Chair Kelly and the Board to stand strong for a State Forests Habitat Conservation Plan.
