Bird Alliance of Oregon Birding Day: Columbia River Gorge with Stefan Schlick
We will leave Portland at 6:30 a.m. Meet at the Gateway Transit Center on the north end of the platforms at 45.531510, -122.563625.
We’ll make stops in Hood River, The Dalles, and Deschutes River Park. We will look for loons, grebes, sea ducks and other odd birds. It is the time of year when unusual birds show up along the river.
We will be back in Portland around 6 p.m. Dress in layers and bring lunch.
This is a self-driving trip.
