Bird Alliance of Oregon Birding Day: Newport and Seawatch

In favorable conditions, we will chase alcids (Common Murres, and Pigeon Guillemots) and tubenoses (Sooty Shearwater, Fork-tailed Storm Petrel) at Boiler Bay State Wayside. Then we will hit various spots around Newport for rarities, storm birds, and winter visitors.

Bring lunch and dress for the weather. You will drive yourself for the day. Stefan will reach out with further details before the trip.

Trip limited to 10 participants.

This outdoor program will require masks and follow all physical distancing and safety protocols dictated by the Oregon Health Administration. Scroll down for details.
