Birding Day: Gulls on the Coast
The Oregon Coast is the winter home of a great variety of gull species. The best way to learn these birds is to see them in the field, comparing different plumages and different species side-by-side. This trip will visit some of the best gull spots around Cannon Beach and Seaside, with a goal of finding 8-10 species of gull.
Dress for the weather and bring food and water. Bring binoculars and a scope if you have one.
Taking the digital gull class is helpful but not required.
This trip will be self-driving.
Trip limited to 10 participants.
