Accessible Birding Outing at Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge
Join Bird Alliance of Oregon for an accessible birding outing at Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge in Sherwood! Fall is an exciting time to see birds returning to our area from Fall migration. We’ll hope to find raptors like the Northern Harrier, waterfowl like Buffleheads, and also songbirds. The majority of our time may be spent stationary at the viewing deck near the visitor center.
This outing is reserved for people who identify as disabled, chronically ill, or neurodivergent and their family, friends or caregivers. Our accessible outings are made for and led by birders with disabilities. Beginning birders are welcome! Extra binoculars will be available.

Trip Leaders: Tara Lemezis, Rae Snyder, and Lorin Wilkerson

If you have any accessibility needs that aren’t covered below or have requests on what we should offer to meet your needs for future events, please reach out to trip leader Ali Berman at aberman@birdallianceoregon.org.
