Bird Alliance of Oregon Birding Day: Ankeny & Baskett Slough

Join Stefan on a day trip to Ankeny & Baskett Slough National Wildlife Refuge. We will be looking for wintering waterfowl, hoping for Northern Shrike, and ending the day at a spot where Short-eared Owl is possible.

Please dress for the weather and bring your lunch.

We will meet at the Tualatin Park & Ride North off Lower Boones Ferry Rd. To get there from Portland, take the Lower Boones Ferry Rd exit off I-5, go west and then take a right (north) on SW 72nd Ave circling around the Village Inn. To access the parking lot, take a right in another 250 ft. The parking lot is between I-5 and the Village Inn. We will meet at the north end of the parking lot.
