Balch Creek Brushes
With paint brushes in hand, venture out to Balch Creek to gather inspiration to spark your imagination! Explore the creek to learn about the creatures that lie beneath the surface and gain inspiration to create your own magical creatures! Use water from Balch Creek to create beautiful water colors and even try your hand at using natural items as paint brushes! Your imagination and creativity are sure to flow all week.
Week-long Camp, Forest Friends Track: August 25-29, 8:30/9 a.m. – 3:00/3:15 p.m.
Grades: 1-2
Drop off Location: Pick-up and drop-off are at Bird Alliance of Oregon, 5151 NW Cornell Rd. 1-2 grade camps will be checked in and out of camp in Heron Hall, located UPSTAIRS in the Nature Store/Interpretive Center building.
Type of Camp: In the Sanctuary day camps combine art, science experiments and games with explorations of our beautiful, 172-acre Nature Sanctuary and neighboring Forest Park.
