Field Trip: Birding by Ear – Shorebirds at Fernhill Wetlands
Put your ears to the test by using vocalizations to help detect and identify shorebirds, one of the more challenging groups of birds we have.
We’ll work on using their characteristic calls to help us identify a variety of plovers and sandpipers (and for good measure, we’ll work on their visual field marks as well).
