Field Trip: Beginning Birding at Mt. Tabor with Brodie Cass Talbott *3 spots left*
On this beginning birding walk we’ll focus on what we learned in the two-part How to Identify Birds digital classes. This trip to Mt. Tabor aims to put theory into practice in identifying birds, focusing on using size and shape, as well as habitat and behavior, to identify our common local birds.
*Meeting location will be emailed to you by your leader several days before the field trip.
Limited to 10 participants.

Accessibility
Pacing: Slow, with frequent stops to view and listen for birds.
Amenities: Two bathrooms along the route; large parking lot with ADA parking spaces
Public Transit: Served most closely by Tri-met #15 to 69th and Yamhill (.25 miles)
Rest Stops: One or two benches are available along the route
Distance: Varies, generally 1.5 to 2 miles
Elevation Changes: 300 feet (total up and down)
Trail Tread and Width: Mostly paved road; some paved trail; some single track packed dirt/gravel trails; some stairs
