Birding Day: Ankeny National Wildlife Refuge
Part of the Willamette Valley National Wildlife Refuge Complex, Ankeny includes woodlands, open meadows, and extensive wetlands, all of which attract a great diversity of bird life. On this trip, we will search for autumn migrants, including shorebirds, waterfowl, raptors, and songbirds. This is a self-driving trip.
Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather. Bring food and water.
