The Bird Days of Summer: Birds and Bevvies: Burns/Hines Nature Trail (Harney County)
We’ll park at the Egan Rd. Trailhead and walk along this old railroad bed turned Nature Trail. The trail travels past the golf course and Burns sewage ponds. The sewage ponds are great for waterfowl and the surrounding meadows, shrubs, and trees are good for a diversity of raptors and passerines.
We’ll head to drinks, meals, and socializing after.
