Celebrate Juneteenth birding in community. We’ll island hop Sauvie Island landing at Oak Island, a paradise for nesting Bullock’s Orioles. We may also spot raptors, Savannah Sparrow, House Wrens, and flycatchers. Cool drinks will be provided.

Meet at the Sauvie Island Park and Ride. From there we will carpool about 20 minutes to Oak Island. A Sauvie Island Day pass is required, we will have a few to share. Bring water, sun protection, snacks/lunch, and bug spray.
