Benson Pond Bird Walk

This bird walk will start at the Benson Pond Trailhead and will travel along the northern edge of Benson Pond, through the stand of homestead era trees and back to the parking area. The diversity of aquatic habitat, emergent marsh, sagebrush/shrubland, and deciduous trees provides for a diverse assortment of bird species. This walk provides a great opportunity for observing ducks in non-breeding plumage and practicing duck ID.

To sign up, please send an email to Teresa “Bird” Wicks, Eastern Oregon Biologist, at twicks@birdallianceoregon.org.
