User-submitted Image Interactive Critique & Discussion with Faraaz Abdool
In this interactive session, Faraaz will review, comment on, and make edits to user-submitted images. Participants are encouraged to build off of what was discussed in the previous photography sessions, spend some time in the field applying the learned techniques, and submit a selection of these images to be discussed anonymously in the class.
The most recent images are preferred, such that participants can recall accurately the environmental context of taking the photo – which would form a key part of the discussion. For best results, submissions should be in RAW format, or at least a high resolution JPEG. We’ll discuss the strengths, weaknesses, and storytelling potential for each photo, among many other attributes. The images chosen for live editing shall be returned to the respective photographers for them to compare and contrast with their originals.
