Forest Fairies & Gnome Homes (No Camp July 4) *2 spots left*
Magical creatures roam the forest floor when we’re not looking. Fairies and gnomes stay hidden in the canopy of trees, under mosses and leaves, and even at the bottom of our creeks. Let’s hone our senses in search for these elusive beings by creating magical wands, designing shelters and boats for them and writing letters in hopes of connecting with all the fantastic creatures that inhabit these ancient lands. We’ll let our creativity and imaginations run wild as we explore, shimmer and fly around camp!
Week-long Camp, Forest Friends Track: June 30-July 3 (NO CAMP Friday, July 4), 8:30/9 a.m. – 3:00/3:15 p.m.
Grades: 1-2
Drop off Location: Pick-up and drop-off are at Bird Alliance of Oregon, 5151 NW Cornell Rd. 1-2 grade camps will be checked in and out of camp in Heron Hall, located UPSTAIRS in the Nature Store/Interpretive Center building.
Type of Camp: In the Sanctuary day camps combine art, science experiments and games with explorations of our beautiful, 172-acre Nature Sanctuary and neighboring Forest Park.
