Forest Park Nature Detectives *4 spots left*
With it’s 5200 acres, Forest Park is a natural jewel waiting to be explored! As Forest Park Nature Detectives, we’ll scurry along the trails in search of the animals and plants that call Forest Park home! Learn how to read the signs that animals leave for us, which plants are useful to humans and animals and why Forest Park is such an important habitat to have right here in our city.
Week-long Camp — Wilderness Scouts Track: July 22-26, 8:30/8:45 a.m. – 3:00/3:15 p.m.
Grades: 2-3
Drop off Location: Grades 2-3 meet in Heron Hall, in our Interpretive Center at, 5151 NW Cornell Rd. Please drop campers off in paved parking lot on north side of campus.
Type of Camp: In the Sanctuary day camps combine art, science experiments and games with explorations of our beautiful, 172-acre Nature Sanctuary and neighboring Forest Park.
