Forest Park Mosaics
Spend the week exploring the textures and colors of the forest as we explore the forest park trails accessible from our Sanctuary. Gather sticks, leaves and other natural items and play with color and texture to create beautiful collages and mosaics. Listen to the sounds of the forests and learn how sound can be its own nature mosaic. We will play with layering, colors, texture and different mediums as we gather materials and inspiration from the forest and let our creativity fly!
Week-long Camp — Creature Creators Track: August 25-29, 8:30/9 a.m. – 3:00/3:15 p.m.
Grades: 2-3
Drop off Location: Pick-up and drop-off are at Bird Alliance of Oregon, 5151 NW Cornell Rd. All 2nd/3rd grade camps will be checked in and out under the Gazebo next to the Wildlife Care Center in our main parking lot.
Type of Camp: In the Sanctuary day camps combine art, science experiments and games with explorations of our beautiful, 172-acre Nature Sanctuary and neighboring Forest Park.
