Field Trip: Cooper Mountain Nature Park with John Rakestraw

With both conifer forest and oak savannah, Cooper Mountain Nature Park is a great place to see and hear our summer resident birds. This early morning hike will search for Lazuli Bunting, Western Bluebird, Chipping Sparrow, Western Flycatcher, and Western Tanager, among others.

John will send out trip details ahead of the trip.
