Distance Learning: Habitat & Birds with Dan van den Broek and Candace Larson

During this “stay at home” era, finding ways to connect with nature and the outdoors is more important than ever. Birding From Home is our five-part series designed to help backyard birders take a deeper dive into the wonder of local birds and the healing power of nature. Lectures will run 50 minutes and we’ll have a live question and answer section at the end.

Part 3 – Habitat & Birds Many species are tied to specific habitat needs, some are generalists and some are specialists. Does habitat preference change with the season? What are some of our key habitats and some of the dominant plant species. What habitat do you live in?
