Herping PDX: Reptiles and Amphibians of the Portland Area

While birds often capture our attention, the Willamette Valley is home to a beautiful array of reptiles and amphibians (herps) that rival the most colorful songbirds.

This class will teach you how to find and identify all the turtles, lizards, snakes, frogs, and salamanders found in our area. Learn about their life histories and their place in the environment, and how your observations can contribute to their conservation.

Join us for the March 29 companion field trip to this class!
