Jr. Birder

Become an expert Jr. Birder! Using your powers of observation and the help of a field guide you will start to learn how to use behavior, habitat and appearance to help identify birds. From wetlands to forests you will practice the skills of spotting and hearing birds. We will investigate specimens to get an up close look, learn about their incredible and unique adaptations, and do our own investigations into the challenges they face and what you can do to help birds in your own communities! Be careful, with all this new bird knowledge, you may even start thinking like a bird as we go all around the Portland area on birding adventures.
