Life on the Wing: Swallows, Swifts, and Nightjars
Which Oregon bird can remain in the air for up to eight months? Which one can sleep for weeks at a time? Which ones nest underground? All of these are aerial insectivores, swallows, swifts, and nightjars, that eat, drink, and even sleep in flight.
This class will introduce you to all the members of this group that call Oregon home, showing you how they live, and how to find and identify each one.

Learn about birds who live their life on the wing!
