Malheur NWR Boat Launch Bird Walks

Join Bird Alliance of Oregon’s Eastern Oregon Field Coordinator, Teresa ‘Bird’ Wicks on a guided bird walk to the boat launch at Malheur National Wildlife Refuge Headquarters. Meet on the deck at the Visitor Center. Binoculars are available for use during the walk. This walk is about 3 miles on a gravel road. Accommodations will be available to participants that may benefit from a shorter walk.

To schedule accommodations, please RSVP at least 1-week in advance. Bird walks limited to 5 people.

There is no shade along this route. Participants should bring plenty of water and wear sunscreen and close-toed shoes.
