Postponed: Nature Night, Centering Justice and Identity – Building Inclusive Scientific Communities for Our Shared Future
This event has been postponed due to COVID-19. We will update this page once we have a new date on the calendar.
Sprinavasa Brown, co-founder of Camp ELSO Inc., has a deep passion for social justice, racial equity in education, and solving complex problems facing communities of color.
Join us for Nature Night to learn how she and her team are breaking down barriers and decolonizing science to make the outdoors and environmental education more inclusive. She’ll share her experience in creating space for youth of color in STEAM and the outdoors in a majority setting with limited influence of Whiteness; the dominant culture that influences societal norms.
For registration questions, please contact Matthew Hushbeck, mhushbeck@birdallianceoregon.org
