Nature Night: The Inner Lives of Crows – Complex Behaviors, Funerals and Play
Crows thrive in human dominated landscapes, living their lives adjacent to our own and inspiring feelings of deep admiration and occasionally frustration. In this Nature Night, corvid expert Kaeli Swift, PhD will take you inside the lives of crows. Based on her years of research, Kaeli will share insights into their complex social structures, ability to problem-solve, use complex tools, recognize human faces, and even host funerals for their dead. Join us and see this backyard bird in an entirely different light.
For registration questions, please contact Matthew Hushbeck, mhushbeck@birdallianceoregon.org
