November Break Camp – Hibernating Amphibians & Reptiles of Forest Park, Grades 1-3

*All local School District Students are out of school this day.

Have you ever wondered how animals like snakes, salamanders and frogs survive the harsh winter? How do they stay warm? What do they eat? This frosty adventure is perfect for young nature enthusiasts who are curious about how cold-blooded creatures survive the winter. Explore the incredible strategies these animals use to stay warm through investigating real specimens, hiking to find evidence of their winter strategies and creating amphibian/reptile inspired crafts. This is sure to be a day filled with frosty fun and fascinating discoveries about nature’s winter survivors!
