Birding Oregon Hotspots: Columbia Estuary

This class will explore sites from the massive Fort Stevens State Park east through Hammond and Warrenton to the Youngs River. With sandy beaches, rocky jetties, mature forests, and open meadows, the diversity of habitats found in the northwest corner of Oregon attracts a great variety of birds. This class will introduce you to some of the best birding spots near the mouth of the Columbia River, showing you how to get there and what species to expect at each site.

Join local author John Rakestraw to learn about the best birding locations in and around the Columbia Estuary.

$20 – $30
