Raptor Rama, Session 2 *FULL*
Who has sharp talons, a curved beak and loves to eat raw meat? Raptors, that’s who! Investigate the differences between eagles, hawks, owls and falcons as you roam our sanctuary and learn all about birds of prey.
Meet our resident American Kestrel, Xena, make raptor art, play bird of prey games, and more!
Week-long Camp: August 22-August 26, 8:30/8:45 a.m. – 3:15/3:30 p.m.
Grades: 1-2
Drop off Location: Grades 1-2 meet in front of the Conservation House in the gravel lot, 5151 NW Cornell Rd.
Type of Camp: In the Sanctuary day camps combine art, science experiments and games with explorations of our beautiful, 172-acre Nature Sanctuary and neighboring Forest Park.
