Newt Scoot
Come join us as we search to find the hundreds of newts that congregate on our pond every year. Armed with rough skin that protects them from predators and colors that make them hard to find, springtime is one of the best times to see these elusive creatures! Spend the day searching under logs, through dense ferns and trying to spot them in the pond as we learn about all of the amazing adaptations these creatures have! Investigate real amphibian specimens, create newt inspired crafts and learn about other amphibians that call our Sanctuary home. This camp is sure to be a newt-ing short of amazing!
