SWIFTS Earth Protectors *FULL*
Let’s learn how to protect the planet together with your campmates in Earth Protectors! Together we will learn from expert naturalists about how to help the animals and habitats in our own backyard and then put that learning into practice! We will find an collect invasive plants, learn how to help birds in our neighborhoods, practice the principles of Leave No Trace and become stewards of our natural world! By the end of this camp you will be a certified Earth Protector!
Week-long Camp — Wilderness Scouts Track: August 12-16, 8:30/8:45 a.m. – 3:00/3:15 p.m.
Grades: 2-3
Drop off Location: Grades 2-3 meet in Heron Hall, in our Interpretive Center at, 5151 NW Cornell Rd. Please drop campers off in paved parking lot on north side of campus.
Type of Camp: In the Sanctuary day camps combine art, science experiments and games with explorations of our beautiful, 172-acre Nature Sanctuary and neighboring Forest Park.
