Learn all about Warblers this spring! These birds are notorious for giving birdwatchers a stiff neck and bewildered stare! Local author and guide John Rakestraw will show you how to identify these birds by sight and sound as well by as posture and performance.

Class Details

  • Class: Wednesday, April 22, 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm
    A link to the virtual class will be emailed to you several days before the class begins. Please be on the lookout and have Zoom downloaded on your device.
  • Class fee: $20 members / $30 non-members
  • Note: At this time, distance learning classes with Bird Alliance of Oregon are not available outside of the allotted time. We will be sure to make our most popular distance learning sessions available again. Thank you!
Meet the Instructor

John Rakestraw

Born and raised in Indiana, John worked as a naturalist in Kansas and Ohio before settling in Oregon. He is freelance writer, author of Birding Oregon, and leads classes and workshops.
