Watercolor Painting with Ronna: The California Quail
*This is a live, online art class.
Join this live, online class to paint the California Quail alongside Ronna Fujisawa, an experienced watercolor painter, art educator, and bird enthusiast. The class is held via Zoom Meetings, allowing participants to use their videos and create a more interactive class. Appropriate for intermediate and ambitious beginners.
For the holiday season, we will be painting the California Quail. The colorful feather patterns may seem hard, but with a little practice, Ronna will teach you techniques in watercolor to achieve beautiful and believable layers of color resembling the lovely California Quail.
Students can paint along with Ronna during this live class or work at their own pace with access to the recording afterward.
Preparation Before Class
– An email will be sent to you a few days before the class with the photo reference and more specific colors for that bird.
– Please have your bird drawn or traced onto watercolor paper before class.
– Please have your supplies ready and set up before class.
