Learn about edible plants, helpful knots and leave no trace principles! These important skills will help build outdoor confidence and competency in the outdoors for your camper!
We are going crafty, very crafty! On this camp we will recreate art with natural materials found in our Forests, we will engage all of our sense and reimagine a world where humans and nature coexist in harmony and peace. This is where ecology and the arts meet to make a better world for all.
Let's head into our sanctuary to practice our stealth and hiding skills. We will learn what type of movements allow us to travel undetected through the woods, how we can learn from animals to better camouflage ourselves and hone our observation skills. Spend the day hiking the trails, camouflaging into the forest and investigating animals that live right here in our forest!

Join us as we learn about the magical beings of the forest! Create a gnome home, craft fairy wings and imagine all of the magical ways that our mystical friends care for the forests when we aren't looking!
Hibernation and torpor are ways that our Pacific Northwest birds and mammals endure the winter months! Let's find out how they do it as we explore pelts and skulls from these amazing survivors. Out in the forest, we can also look for some of their hide outs and signs of their presence like paw prints and scat. Come join us on this exploration day!
Have you ever wondered how different animals use their wings so differently? Some birds fly quietly while others are fast, some use it for courtship while others fly above the clouds. Come learn about all of the special adaptations that our wonderful winged friends have while examining birds bones, wings, tallons and owl pellets. Walk through the forest looking for these creatures of the sky and test yourself on how many different species you can find!
