Buzz into nature camp and join us on an adventure into the world of bees and other pollinators. At camp, we will explore bees' vital role in pollinating plants, try out a honey-tasting experiment, and get hands-on as we learn how bees use their incredible sense of smell and memory to survive.
Come make a splash with us as we explore the world of our flat-tailed, big-toothed friends, BEAVERS! We will be heading to Cook Park to explore beaver habitat, learn what makes beavers bodies so special, and even try to mimic some of beavers coolest skills. This camp will leave you with a new appreciation for nature's number one architect and maybe even some envy of their big, beautiful teeth.
In this camp, we will learn why the natural world is so full of color and we'll make some art to rival the colors we see outside. You will leave this camp with a new sense of wonder that you can take back to your very own neighborhood.

Spring is upon us and many of Oregon's iconic raptor species have returned from their winter migrations. With binoculars and scopes in hand, spend the day at Ridgefield Wildlife Refuge trying to spot these incredible animals in their natural habitat. Investigate specimens to learn about the adaptations that make raptors the apex predators that they are and leave this day with a deeper appreciation for this incredible group of animals!
Mammals and marshes, oh my! Join us as we learn about Oregon's amazing wetlands and their furry inhabitants. Discover the fascinating mammals that call Oregon's marshy habitats home, from otters and beavers to muskrats and deer. Through guided hikes, specimen exploration, and a little beaver dam building of our own, campers will learn about the diverse creatures that thrive in Oregon's wetlands and how they adapt and support its unique environment. We will talk about the importance of wetland conservation and how we can help make a paws-itive difference in the lives of some of Oregon's favorite furry friends.

In this traveling camp we will be heading out to Fernhill wetlands in the midst of spring migration season to see the traveling birds, explore an important stopover habitat, and learn about the importance of wetlands in our ecosystems.
What has 6 legs, an exoskeleton, 2 antennae and compound eyes? Insects that's who! Sing songs and investigate specimens to learn what makes insects special. Turn over logs, look under leaves and search the trails for these small but mighty creatures. Learn how to help support insects in your own communities and create colorful insect inspired stain glass to take home with you.
