Zenith Energy Community Forum

This Community Forum is the first that is planned by the City of Portland and designed to inform the people our city about Zenith Energy’s ongoing expansion of their Portland tar sands oil facility. It will include participation from the Mayor, and City Council members, by several relevant City Bureaus, local Tribal Governments, and invited testimony from community groups that have been involved. Representatives from Zenith and BNSF have also been invited to attend.

Speakers will discuss how this facility’s operations can harm people, urban wildlife, city, rivers, region, climate, and what the City is planning to do about it.
