Youth and Family Programs
We’re taking distance learning and in-person learning outdoors! We’ve created engaging digital programs and in-person programming to supplement the evolving needs of families grappling with remote schooling and care. Using our unique collection of specimens, nature right outside of your door, our beautiful Nature Sanctuary, your kids powers of observation, and some basic art supplies, your child will be able to head outdoors to hunt for signs of life close to home and with Bird Alliance of Oregon educators at our in-person programs!
Online: We hope you’ll join us for adventures with nature and science! Our small, digital classes of fifteen or less, engage children ages 6-11 together with cool experiments, weird nature facts, and hands-on activities!
In-person: See wildlife, engage in hands-on activities and explore everything that the forest has to offer. If you like walking through the woods and getting your hands dirty, we hope to see you there!
Our in-person Nature Sanctuary options for grades 1-6 are held entirely outdoors, require masks, and follow all physical distancing and safety protocols dictated by the Oregon Health Administration.
