Bird Alliance of Oregon Birding Day: Clackamas County Hotspots *FULL*

Join naturalist-in-residence and expert birder Dan van den Broek to bird from West Linn to Molalla, looking for ducks, woodland, and riparian species!

We will begin at Willamette Park in West Linn and visit the nearby waste water plant to look for a variety of ducks. From here we will head to the Canby Community Park to look for woodland and riparian birds near the Molalla River, where there are often Black Phoebe and Wood Ducks. Finally we will end in Molalla where we will visit the mixed forest and riparian habitat of Ivor Davies park and hopefully find the Acorn Woodpecker.

Bring lunch and dress for the weather. You will provide your own transportation. Details on where to meet to come in a follow-up email.

Trip limited to 8 participants.

View our COVID-safe spotting scope policy here.

This outdoor program will require masks and follow all physical distancing and safety protocols dictated by the Oregon Health Administration. Scroll down for details.
