Forest Therapy at Bird Alliance of Oregon Wildlife Sanctuary

Forest Therapy is the practice of spending time in the forest for the purpose of enhancing one’s health, wellness, and happiness. Research has shown that spending time in nature reduces stress, can boost the immune system, and restores mental energy.

Welcome to the St. Patty’s Day edition of Forest Therapy, where you can celebrate green by surrounding yourself with the greenery of the forest. Join Andrea Kreiner, a certified nature and forest therapy guide, for a slow and mindful sensory journey to connect with nature at the Bird Alliance of Oregon Wildlife Sanctuary. During the walk, you will receive a series of invitations to help slow down, engage your senses, release stress, and be more present as you connect with the natural world and experience the restorative qualities of nature.
