Watercolor Painting with Ronna: The Cooper’s Hawk

This is an interactive, live, online art class on Zoom.

Join this live, online class to paint the Cooper’s Hawk alongside Ronna Fujisawa, an experienced watercolor painter, art educator, and bird enthusiast. The class is held via Zoom Meetings, allowing participants to use their videos and create a more interactive class. Appropriate for intermediate and ambitious beginners.

The Coopers Hawk, with yellow feet and ceres (where the nostrils are), beautiful reddish barring, and red eyes, can be seen speeding through the forest or weaving through the neighborhoods of Portland. Painting the intricate patterns on raptors can be challenging, so we are dedicating the month of September to raptors.

Students can paint along with Ronna during this live class or work at their own pace with access to the class recording afterward.
