Winter World Adaptations

What makes winter so enjoyable? Getting outside amidst rain or snow to enjoy the natural wonders. Increase your appreciation and excitement for the winter season by learning a bit more about the adaptations of various birds, animals, and plants adapted to thrive in the Cascade mountains.

This digital class will provide the tools for you to hone your field observation skills and provide insight, stories, and clues for fostering a deeper connection to our winter world. We will also provide information to community science organizations and groups with whom you can get more involved this winter season for stewardship, advocacy and action!
