The Bird Days of Summer: BIPOC Fly Fits Bird Walk
This event is reserved for adults who are a part of the BIPOC community.
Show up in your flyest bird themed fits wearing your favorite bird tees, socks, hats, accessories, whatever you’ve got! We’ll spend some time birdwatching at Smith and Bybee Wetlands and connect over cool drinks to enjoy each other’s fly fits. All who attend will receive a special gift from Bird Collective to add their bird gear collection! We will meet at Smith and Bybee Wetlands in the covered area near the parking lot. We will walk on a paved, mostly flat trail for about 2 miles. Expect partial shade and some full sun along the trails. First timers and beginners are welcome! Binoculares will be provided. Registration for this event is through People of Color’s POCO’s Meetup Page.
Masks are optional on this outdoor program.

About the Sliding Scale
Bird Alliance of Oregon is excited to begin offering programs on a sliding scale. A sliding scale model will move us towards a more equitable, inclusive, and just community.
In the spirit of community, we ask folks to pay it forward when they can. Your support will fund scholarships, as well as future free and low-cost programs.
