December 5 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Photography Basics: An Introduction with Faraaz Abdool
Join us to learn about the bare-bones basics of photography with virtually any camera! This how-to guide includes focus settings, exposure, and other camera-specific settings that will make photographing birds much more straightforward. Also, the long-lens myth will be debunked, and we will discuss how to make great images of birds with shorter focal lengths, even using cell phone cameras! Getting close to birds is often touted as a means of making a good image, but we will be looking at using the bird’s habitat to not only compose a compelling frame, but also investigate the storytelling potential of the environmental perspective.
This class is part of a bird photography series. Please register separately for each class.
